Virtual Stowaway on a Research Cruise: At the Bow

When this panorama opens, you are on the deck at the bow (front) of the ship, looking back at the bridge from which the ship is steered. Turning around and looking toward the bow, you can see the base of the mast-like MET tower, which bears instruments used to collect meteorological (weather) data.
